LILAC: The League of Intentional Living for Aspiring Centenarians

BETA
Welcome to the Socratly Q&A Portal for the League of Intentional Living for Aspiring Centenarians (LILAC)!
Anyone can sign up here for free and ask questions about intentional living for longevity. An application to join the League's WhatsApp group is available on the Book Card pane.
League members enjoy additional benefits not available through this Q&A Portal.

Our custom AI will extract answers based on the League's collective, public, and proprietary knowledge, captured in the LILAC Knowledge Capsule, not accessible to the leading AI Models, whether open source or private (OpenAI, Claude, Meta, Grok, DeepSeek...)

The League is an organized, exclusive community of invited members who share a common purpose: to live deliberately and purposefully rather than by habit. This includes conscious choices about health, habits, relationships, mindset, time, and values, all in the context of enjoyable longevity. It points to proactive design of daily life (nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, social connection, purpose) instead of passive aging.

The League fosters structure, mutual support, shared standards or practices, accountability, and a sense of belonging, more formal or committed than a casual club or online forum. Members are people who actively want to extend their healthspan up to, or beyond, 100 years of age as long as they are in good health and can enjoy life on their own terms. “Aspiring” emphasizes motivation, goal-orientation, and ongoing effort, but also flexibility, consciously enjoying the journey, not obsessed by the destination (the number 100 or any other number).

This does not necessarily apply to anyone in the general population.

LILAC Members:

  • - Treat longevity as a conscious project rather than a genetic lottery.
  • - Actively shape their biology, habits, and environment through evidence-based and intentional practices.
  • - Share principles, mutual encouragement, and perhaps tools or frameworks (e.g., tracking systems, mental strategies for stress and unresolved issues, lifestyle protocols).
  • - Don’t pursue extreme longevity in isolation.

The League frames extreme longevity not as luck or pure science alone, but as the outcome of belonging to a purposeful collective that treats daily life as a deliberate, high-stakes craft. It combines the social power of a league with the personal agency of intentional life in service of a bold shared goal: thriving into (and beyond) 100.

We also understand that there are very legitimate reasons for people who would not want to become centenarians, and we fully respect such desires.
